FuelXLite Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the FuelXLite mobile application. For our general privacy practices, please see our General Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Vehicle and Fuel Data

FuelXLite collects and stores the following information locally on your device:

  • Vehicle information (make, model, registration number)
  • Fuel expense records (date, amount, quantity, price per liter)
  • Odometer readings
  • Fuel station names and locations
  • Fuel type information
  • Mileage calculations

1.2 Device Information

We may collect:

  • Device model and operating system version
  • App version information
  • Crash logs and error reports (if you opt-in)

2. Data Storage

Local Storage Only: FuelXLite stores all your vehicle and fuel expense data locally on your device. We do not transmit or store this data on our servers.

45-Day History Limitation: The free version of FuelXLite automatically deletes records older than 45 days to manage storage space.

3. Data Usage

Your fuel expense data is used solely to:

  • Display your fuel expense history
  • Calculate mileage and fuel efficiency
  • Generate analytics and reports
  • Provide fuel station-wise expense breakdowns

4. Advertisements

FuelXLite displays advertisements to support the free version. Our advertising partners may collect:

  • Device advertising ID
  • IP address
  • General location (city/region level)
  • App usage statistics

You can remove advertisements through an in-app purchase.

5. Permissions

FuelXLite may request the following permissions:

  • Storage: To save and retrieve your fuel expense data
  • Location (Optional): To automatically detect fuel station locations
  • Camera (Optional): To scan fuel receipts (if feature is enabled)

6. Data Backup

FuelXLite does not provide cloud backup. Your data is stored only on your device. If you uninstall the app or lose your device, your data will be lost. We recommend:

  • Regularly backing up your device
  • Upgrading to FuelXPro for cloud sync and backup features

7. Third-Party Services

FuelXLite uses the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements
  • Google Play Services: For app functionality and in-app purchases
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Optional): For crash reporting if you opt-in

8. Children's Privacy

FuelXLite is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by:

  • Clearing data within the app settings
  • Uninstalling the application
  • Clearing app data from your device settings
